Once again, we have piled up the mattresses and soundproofed the walls, dodged the wind and the rain and the tractor-trailers to record ourselves at home. We have dipped deep into the well of traditional music and gathered up many gems—gospel numbers, duets from the golden age of country music, mountain songs—made them our own and added a few originals.
